The challenge
The historic district is rich in symbols but needs clear transitions, shade and places to pause so the visit reads as one journey rather than disconnected points.
The idea
The route was designed as chapters: a gateway announces arrival, plazas shift character, and architectural frames borrow the proportions of rawasheen and openings without literal imitation.
The outcome
A walkable civic journey connecting plazas, activities and façades, giving every stop a distinctive image inside one story about historic Jeddah.
